Fibretech’s Microtex product range was originally developed for use in the automotive and aerospace industries, due to the exceptional thermal properties of the material, which outperforms alternative products in demanding applications.

Fibresheet is the next generation of porous metal media developed by Fibretech using the patented i-melt® technology. Using advanced production techniques, Fibresheet is a high-performance sintered fibre network, engineered to provide excellent thermal, acoustic, and electrochemical characteristics.

Through an extensive R&D programme, Fibretech developed a complex two-stage process, which resulted in the successful production of a series of highly innovative materials that each have specialised properties for use in a range of applications – Fibresheet.
