The Microtex product range is a high-performance material that is commonly used within the exhaust system baffles of combustion vehicles to provide thermal insulation and protection to the basalt wool and controls noise attenuation at high and low audible frequencies. The material provides a constant operating level at high temperature, without drop off in acoustic performance or degradation in thermal protection, and resistance to back pressure due to the fine crystalline structures.
